Airport priority pass lounges

priority pass is a pass to access those private lounges in airports. I've never been in one, but I just got a credit card that gets me in free on an unimited basis. Do they have fill service bars and **** in there or is it lame with shifty food?

Food is usually meh... apples, bagels, crackers, cheese, teeny muffins... depends on the time of day. They do have a full-service bar, though. Usually some wine, beer, basic cocktails, etc. Beats sitting with the masses and you get wireless access.

are you flying to cun out of iah?

if so, hit up the presidents club. unfortunately, the majority of my international flights depart at midnight and the club closes at 11:30pm, so I don't get to hit it up often.

They're great. And the non-premium booze is free. Comfortable chairs, put your feet up. WiFi. Oh yeah, and much cleaner crappers. I'm a member of President's Club. Used to be Admirals. They're about the same. Delta Crown room somehow lacks, IMO, but I do hate their airline, so my judgment is skewed.

yeah - it's totally worth it, if anything for the level of sanity you experience as opposed to what is on the outside on the main concourse.

It separates you from the savages...enough said.

I will echo the other comments: food = meh; drinks = good.

I will also add that a lot of them have "family rooms" and if you are traveling with a small child, it is gold. The family rooms have a TV, some chairs, and simply space for families with small kids to hang out.

I've got Admirals Club access but hardly use it. The people watching is much better outside.
