Air-drum songs

So many Rush songs to name - my favorite might be La Villa Strangiato.

Plus, when am I ever going to get to use this emoticon again . . .

"In the Air Tonight" is mine. I don't think the one in "Jack and Diane" compares.

Phil Collins stuff is a good bet if he's not serenading. At least half of Metallica's Black Album works. There's more, just can't think of any right now.

The Cars: Just What I Needed.

Throughout the song, the snare is hit on 2 & 4, then after Benjamin Orr (RIP) sings "Time Time", Robinson switches briefly to hitting on the 1 & 3 count, then switches back. He does is a couple of other times, but that first switch is simple...yet brilliant. I can't help but play along.

Damn, the Midnight Special was a great show. I saw so much new music on her in the mid to late 70s.
 
The intro to You Could be Mine by G N R is pretty sweet although its hard to keep up even while "air" drumming.
