Ahmad Dixon

It will be interesting to follow his career given the interesting path he took to get to Baylor.
 
We are in a different league, recruiting wise, compared to Texas. We can't just turn our back on someone with that talent. We can use all the help we can get.

I'm hopeful this sticks... but not positive.
 
yeah BU, I was thinking about the same. If Dixon comes back, he's too good to turn away.

Hope he sticks this time, for BU's sake. Maybe they could put him in a dark room for the next three weeks under guard. Yeah, they could hire Mike Leach for the job, he's not busy right now.
 
I want all Texas High School kids to stay in Texas. The in state competition would be awesome and OU would cease to exist.

I just want all the illegal recruiting, extra perks, street agent and backroom deals to end. Given an even playing field, Texas will be fine.
 
I have been loosely following. Can somebody help me out....didn't he commit to Texas, then switch to Baylor, then switch to an SEC school, and now he is back at Baylor?

WTF. I don't think I remember a kid switching so many times.
 
The thing also is that there are only limited scholarships and when he switched we had to give his scholarship to someone else. Basically we only have three outstanding left to Hicks, Jeffcoat and Seastrunk.
 
Hope Dixon's girlfriend is not counting on a ring anytime soon. The kid has serious "commitment" issues.
 
Briles has to be more forgiving, he doesnt get many 4stars.
Dixon should have never verballed to UT if he wasnt sure. Now its costing him.
I dont think LS is even an option for us, even if he calls the coaches. I think Mack is done with both LS and AD bc of past. Maybe i am wrong, i dont have any inside info on these players, but from Mack and his actions in the past few years thats how it seems.
 
We have had players exceed in the NFL from several positions but especially at DB. What I don't understand is that with that success why someone would throw away a chance to come here for obvious reason$.
 
i don't know how good a safety this kid is, but he has this committing business down pat. what is that four times now that he's made a commitment?

i hope he'll just sit now and upgrade baylor. they can use him and his hometown family and friends can watch him play.

that agent guy really hurt this kid, you know. he'll do just fine at baylor, but, boy, what he might have done in a muschamp defense. pity.
 
Now that Earl has left for the NFL and Hicks and Jackson have committed to Texas, I wonder if Dixon has had his first adult "Oh s**t" moment?
