Did a solid job on the sideline reporting tonight. Although not everyone he interviews needs to be described as a legend. I understand Kevin Durant and Vince Young, but A Hall and Matt M. - ummm maybe not.

He does a good job on the radio as well. I think he can leave his pharmaceutical job behind him now.

His interviews were horrible. You could have pulled ten drunk guys from the stands and nine of them would have done a better job.

Yeah, I think he probably needs to keep his safety net. His interview of the PPV lady was particularly painful.

Yeah, I beleive one of the more important points of an interveiw is know where the player plays.

the ppv lady interview was brutal, but I dont blame Ahmard. someone in the truck made him do it. but they sure as hell werent "sponsoring' the ppv, in my book, I was and everyone else who paid for it. if they "sponsored" it, I should see a credit on my bill, right?

Come to think of it - he should have interviewed the girlfriend and not the surfer.

Although I was surprised that he did not understand the question, and I laughed, it was a BS question to ask a person on the sidelines. It's not Durant's place to tell the name even if he knows it. We are not talking 60 Minutes where unfair questions should be expected. Sideline interviews are by their nature supposed to be fluff pieces, unless of course Joe Namath is involved. Then it is just sad.

Love the guy, but it was painful and extremely awkward to watch. Michele Tafoya can rest easy, Ahmad isn't coming for her job anytime soon.
