That Stripling kid is a heck of a pitcher. He shut us down and looked good tonight just couldnt get much offense after the first inning. Aggy should beat Cal on Tuesday with their number 2 pitcher but they had to stay out of the losers bracket because without Stilson they have pretty much no one after the Cal game to get them far in the elimination games unless they can get back to Stripling and even then you have to win 4 to survive.

It was a good game except for the outcome. I like our chances against Cal as long as Wacha is on. If not we're in trouble.

Aggy has an easier road than UT at this point, although winning two against Virginia will be tough. They should get by Cal, I would think, and I read South Carolina has problems once they get past their ace.

Oh yeah, Vanderbilt, who is at the CWS for the first time, has already one 1 game vs. 2 games in Aggys entire "elite" history of college baseball.
