I read the aggy recruiting boards and most over there seem to think he will still sign with yall come feb '12... What do you think? Nobody probably knows though...hard to read the mind of a 17/18 year old kid.

stringerbell on texags. but most of my posts are on the premium boards.

i think ultimately he'll sign with A&M. the comments regarding his committment came directly from him and his parents. all information regarding his decommittment have come from his coach...that same coach who drove him to the LSU practice the day after he committed to A&M.

i think it's career suicide in lousiana to not have your star player commit to LSU if the tigers want him, so the coach is doing his own version of due diligence to make sure that phillips gives LSU every opportunity to sign him.

just gotta see how this one plays out.

TAMU's best hope is for LSU to fill up at LB. If I am Sherman, I do everything I can to make this drag out as long as possible, then hopefully LSU is full and he can sign with TAMU with "no hard feelings".
