aggy DeAndre Jordan Pouts

i remember when jordan signed with aggy and how the aggy was pounding their chests saying how great they were going to be with him..........the guy did nothing at aggy

I would go ahead and declare if I were him. Would there be any benefit if he actually stayed for another year?

I wonder how much of that is exaggeration. Not having followed it that closely I don't know what this kid's attitude has been, and I also know that just because your teammates get on you in the course of a game, that doesn't make you a team pariah. But then again, it might...

Is this guy really a projected draft pick? With all the international players coming out these days I have a hard time seeing him drafted even in the 2nd round.

remember when aggy was whining about how Barnes undeveloped players using Kevin Durant as an example?

Even though he had won EVERY CONCEIVABLE NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD BY A LANDSLIDE AS A FRESHMAN,

And was subsequently drafted into the NBA with the second pick and almost the first, before he was old enough to vote?

I wonder how many 5* athletes will come a runnin' to aggy land to be "developed" after watching the Jordon train wreck unfold?

Are they still stuck with his ****** AAU coach now that Jordon has played his last game for them?

Doesn't say much for Turgeon that he could get even a little bit more out of a guy projected to be a first rounder. Not only did Jordan not live up to potential, he pretty much went into the aggy witness protection program.

I think it falls on more than just him. That is unfair. The team and coaching collapsed but let's not take away from UCLA and their efforts. They capitalized on the mistakes and executed. Teams don't always do that.

This guy for sure did not live up to the hype. Most don't though. Makes you wonder if he will actually go or if he has smart voices in his ear telling him another year may help him. If it is true that despite what he did in college with not the best supporting cast will not stop him from being a top 8 type pick, he needs to go. He would be foolish not to. Otherwise, he may stay. I would not blame him.

Next year could be a very important make/break year for aggy in hoops. Will they go back to cellar dwellers, be mediocre or hover in the 3-5 best team range?

There's a LA Times mock just out that had Jordan as the 11th pick, I think, and the panel was well aware of how little he had done this year.

You can't teach tall, and he has a pretty good touch around the hoop. The rest of his game, I guess they're planning to teach him.

It seems that the NBA drafts on potential rather than production on the court. Based on his production this year, he obviously has no business going in the top 10 (or at all even; he wasn't even starting by the end of the year). Still, he's tall and athletic and you can't teach that. The reason he'd get drafted is that NBA teams want to "claim" him since his height and athleticism are so rare. They'll develop him over the next few years on their own time.

As for the Durant comment, I don't think many Ags thought he wasn't developed (other than his bench press). Sure there were a few idiots that said he sucked, but the vast majority of us got heartburn whenever he walked onto the court. In the same vein, I'm sure you guys had people saying Dat Nguyen would never amount to anything or that Martellus Bennet won't either. Idiot fans exist everywhere.

I think all of this falls pretty much evenly on the shoulders of Jordan and Turgeon. Turgeon should have been a man and said "I'm not going to beg you to come and play for me, or give your coach a job. If you don't want to be an Aggie, that's your decision." But giving in to a teenager like that made Jordan think he was going to get whatever he wanted during his time at A&M. Then, when his swollen ego just couldn't handle being a superstar (at least in his own mind) and having to sit on the bench for 75% of the game, that's when he threw in the towel.

Turgeon has allowed him to behave this way all season, and now they're left to deal with the fact that it probably was a waste. Jordan didn't increase A&M's profile in the mind of potential recruits around the country or even the state of Texas. If anything, he diminished it. He'll still go in the first round, but not as highly as people thought he would, and he'll sit on an NBA bench for a year or two before being shipped to Europe to get some experience.

A&M is now back to square one ... no Acie Law, no Joseph Jones, no Dominique Kirk, no DeAndre Jordan, and a coach who can't control his spoiled players.

I hated watching that kid in high school/AAU. What a whiner. I didn't even like his game. It was all about going after shotblocks, and not much else. No toughness. No perserverance. Blech.

Barnes loved him. I couldn't have rooted for him even if he had signed with Texas. I don't really have anything against A&M basketball, but I was sure glad they took away any chance Texas had of getting him.

A&M will be better off with him out of the program.

Aggy declared national title when he signed. fitting that it would end this way, in typical aggy fashion, flaming out and crashing directly into the face of their hopes and dreams, leaving only resentment and despair

Jebus, check out Jordan's game log. He was very productive in about 20 minutes per game early in the year... but he fell off a cliff once the B12 tournament started.

What was the cause of that DNP against Iowa State?

steel shank, although i agree witth what you say, i am too confused by your sig pic to continue. PLEASE EXPLAIN? is it a hockey stick?
