Aggys on this board, is there something else to this that I'm not seeing? Because A) it was against TCU, who the **** cares, and B) why is this worth celebrating?

Well, we still talk about Brackens hit on the Tech kicker amongst numerous other big hits.

That hit is crazy vicious though. Also I would expect it would get a 15 yard penalty today as mentioned on that thread a few times (hitting a defenseless receiver).

Of course, their mutton judging team finished first at the Brazos County fair. And the women's soccer and basketball teams have had great seasons.

My guess is that many of them think that if they mention "the hit" someone outside of College Station the listener will know exactly what they're talking about. Same sort of overblown notions that some Aggies have about the national prominence of their football program.

This year their fame is based on dropping like a clubbed seal from the top ten into the sack of obscurity whence they came. That and second half debacles.
