Because they made it to Omaha. Now keep in mind they went 2 and BBQ, but it is big news, right?

Maybe we should do this for all our CWS teams... we could do it over the course of the entire season

As a Nebraska fan I find this to be an insult, that they're doing this while WE're in town.

I wanna lay a good smackdown on these guys.
 
I guess they had no problem scheduling it. It's not like they had to work around any of the players pro schedules. I would be interested to see a list of Horns playing MLB compared to the farmers.

My quick count has us having 35 home games this year. We can try and fit in the 32 CWS teams in one season but it will be tough.

Maybe we can do it in between innings on the video board like they do with the Alumni spotlight. A new CWS team each game, that should get them all in.
 
Phew! Ok, at least I'm not the only one that thinks that this is funny. Am I correct in that they have only won like 4 games in Omaha... ever?

NC in Meat Judging... I be we could use our BOMC to get not only the Tower lit in total orange, but the Arch in St. Louis, Sears Tower, maybe even that building in Malaysia... It would be worldwide epic pandemonium with people just freaking out.
 
I think Eastern Michigan, Maine and Northern Colorado have as much or more to be proud of in their baseball history than aggy.

Goo I believe it was their 89 team that ended the season #2 despite being denied Omaha at the hands of LSU in a regional at Olsen Field.
