Now if they manage to get a hit or two on those guys, out comes the 5th best ERA guy in the country and one of our best closers ever - Mr. Wood.

... Oh, and at any point, if we want to just mess with the batters a little more for fun, we might just throw in the kid that leads our staff in ERA (1.49) and is third in the country - that boy Dicharry.

Don't forget that we still have a guy sitting there in the corner, having lost his starting job, even after throwing a no-hitter this year.

Sorry that I can't get it to line up, but those stats would give me confidence as an Aggie. Raley is pitching very well lately. Not saying we can't or won't take this game, but it will be more of a challenge than some are predicting.

I agree with that. Jokes apart, aggy can indeed steal a couple of games from us. We should avoid that. Need to make use of the chances we get. Our bats, though hitting much better lately, are still not coming through well enough when we have runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs. If we don't waste the easier scoring chances, we will be fine.

Teams with all-around good stats like Kansas State have given us nightmares. Aggy is not quite in KSU's class, but is pretty good. We need to play our best.

I definitely like the fact that NONE of our weekend starters or big inning people pitched last night. Especially glad not to see Ruffin last night!! Hopefully, Workman can get some rest and be back in form for a couple of innings this weekend (if needed) or the post season.

What needs to be focused on right now is winning 2/3 and locking down that top 8 seed. We have the pitching depth to win a regional (which we haven't had in several years) and it would REALLY help to have a super at home rather than have to travel to some place like Houston or Baton Rouge.

I honestly don't care about ANYthing else right now. Everything past that is gravy.
