4 star LB Derrick Stephens has apparently had to quit football due to repeated concussions.

Sounds like Linebacker U will be looking for some bodies to fill the position.

As to aggy: fortunately for them they have a whole shitload of pimply ball squeezers standing at the ready to fill in if needed.

I always hate hearing of a kid's career ending like this. Best of luck to him with good health. Get that degree and go get 'em. Good move on Sherm's behalf to honor the scholarship.
 
That stinks for the kid, you never want to hear that about anyone at any school, much like the Westlake lineman now at UT. Hope he takes advantage of the scholarship and is a success in everything else he does.
 
Sucks for something like this to happen to such a talented kid. Best of luck to him & classy move for aggy to honor his scholly. Looks as though aggy & sherminator will be very thin at linebacker for a while.

Good call for the kid. Better now than when a scholarship can no longer do him any good because he sees double and has constant headaches. Best of luck to him in his future.
