After seeing both games tonight, who do you like?

I say Memphis in reasonably close first half, and then win by at least 6 points. Kansas goes cold for a much shorter period than they did tonight, more like 5 minutes, and that's enough.

Memphis will feast on KU's turnovers and quick shots and convert those into easy transition points. Tigers by double digits (but I'll be rooting for KU)

I am really rooting for KU, but I have a hard time envisioning Memphis losing. Either way, our last two losses don't look so bad.

I think Steer is spot on. If KU plays anywhere near as sloppy as they did tonight for an extended stretch on Monday, and if Memphis plays anywhere near the level that have played at since last Friday, the Tigers will easily win by double digits.

If Memphis does win, at least (the other) UT will be able to say they prevented them from going 40-0.

Kansas by 8-10. They are very athletic, just like Memphis but with bigger interior. They will use the same strategy as tonight, bang it inside with Kahn.

KU is deeper, Rose and Acronym are most talented on ct, KU wins second half and game with Rush as MVP.

I'll be rooting for Kansas, but if I were putting money on it, I'd take Memphis. Memphis is not prone to cold streaks, as KU can find once in a while - and Memphis feasts on turnovers and takeaways.

Memphis by double digits, and I'm pulling for 'em. If that happens, at least the Horns can say it took the national champions to take them out. Guess I have no Big 12 loyalty, because I just don't like Kansas.

Unless Kansas can get Memphis in some serious foul trouble and win by using their superior depth, I think Memphis looks too strong. When Kansas puts it all together they are very impressive as well. Could be a great final game.

KU has to get Memphis in foul trouble. They cannot have the kind of letdown they had in the second half when NC almost pulled it off. They'll need to deny Dorsey rebounds and get him to foul in the paint. They will need to hit 3s.

They will need a near perfect game.

Pulling for KU but have my doubts. Its either KU in a squeaker or Memphis by 10+

It's funny how the 4th best #1 seed has become the best team in the history of college basketball not coached by John Wooden.

After seeing both games I still like Texas

Seriously though I think it will be Memphis. I just dont see how a team like that could lose. Of course I didn't see a team like UNC losing either until they were down by 28 in the first half.

I like Memphis a lot. It tells you something when their guards are able to shred UCLA's defense, frustrating the Bruins to the point that Darren Collison fouls himself out with 3 minutes to go, almost at midcourt, for no apparent reason.

KU will have to shoot at least as well as it did Saturday. They match up a little better on defense -- I imagine Rush will start out on CDR. But Rush needs to score, too. 1) He can't clank threes like he did last night if they're going to win, and 2) he's going to have Antonio Anderson on him (I think).

People have said a lot of things about Calipari all season, but he has his guys playing defense and rebounding, and getting the ball to Rose and CDR on offense and getting out of the way. If KU can get the Memphis bigs in foul trouble (not an insurmountable task) and control the boards, that would help.

I could foresee Collins making a difference with his drives, but can he guard Rose? I imagine that will be a Chicago thing at some point tomorrow.

I think it is Memphis' to lose.
But, I think Kansas can win, if they can hit the 3 and as mentioned here get the Tiger's big men in foul trouble. Joey Dorsey can be taken out of games early if he gets 2 quick fouls. Kansas has good enough big men that without Dorsey they can take advantage.
UCLA almost was able to do this when both Taggert and Dorsey picked up 3 fouls each early in the 2nd half. For some reason UCLA could get Kevin Love the ball enough to take advantage, some credit has to go to Dozier for helping out on Love. I don't think that Dozier will be able to cheat to help out Dorsey or Taggert in this game because he will be matched up against a much better offensive threat.
Should be a good game, hopefully Kansas can continue playing well and make a game out of it. I still think the TIgers will be winning their 1st champ tonight.
