The wife and I are interested in buying some unimproved property close to water recreation and quality golf. My preference is several acres in the "country", but the Mrs. is more interested in a good sized lot in a developed neighborhood. We are looking for something to hold for retirement in 10-15 years, where we can visit the boys (who should be students at Texas by then) and to make it easier to see Texas football.
Any suggestions? Any thing we should avoid?
