Fantastic movie. Aside from the alcohol and weed, I had a very similar situation occur to me when I was around 19. (the whole falling in love with a chick who I didn't know was ******* some older dude, but she clearly liked me.... we didn't end up together though, because that woulda been ****** up... She's batshit crazy anyhow.

They did a great job of depicting life in the late 80's I thought. I also thought the movie good, but not great.

The main character had Michael Cera qualities.

More of a real movie than I expected. I thought it would be more of a SuperBad-like comedy.
