Advanced Basketball Camp

UT's Advanced Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 17th -19th. Since the coaches can't comment on recruiting, how do we typically find out who attends camp and who was offered a scholarship? For those of you who follow recruiting, is it typical to get any commitments from recruits after attending camp?

I don't have answers to most of your questions, but I do know that the camp is usually open to the public. If you're able to go you can see who all attends. We have gotten commitments after camp before. @BabHorn usually keeps us in the loop...hopefully he will be able to do so again this time!

Thanks Jusme.....that's good info. Maybe I'll check it out.

Did anyone make it to observe camp over the weekend?
I made it there on Saturday for about 2 hours! The only Big names we had there was Chastity Patterson and Chennedy Carter! There were 2 good looking forwards there but I did not talk to the right people who knew who they were!! No Tatum Veitenheimer or Vivian Gray.
Talked to someone who said Baylor had an invite only camp to 40 players last Sunday. Supposedly all the elites from in state and out were there!!

Very interesting news that Chennedy attended the camp along with Chasity. Sounds like the coaches' interest in Chennedy and vice versa continues despite Chasity's verbal commitment. I'm sure things will work themselves out in good time.

Baylor had the best of Texas and Arizona out there. All the way into the 2020 class. Just saw a video on Twitter of the Baylor camp.

Carter was at camp along with Patterson. They were the only two that looked to be any good big drop off after those two

I'm sure some of those players will be at the Texas camp next year. They all can't go to baylor.

I'd be interested to know if Sedona or Charli would have attended if they weren't in Spain with the U17 team. On a similar note, anybody know why Shae and Deja didn't make it?

Two weekends ago, Baylor had a team camp, and I believe there was 3-on-3 competition. Tatum Veitenheimer and Trinity Oliver were there (representing Sedona's club team). Not sure if those same players/teams were at this past weekend's camp. The vid above showed some references to "SA Finest", so not sure if that was from the team camp. Saw lots of errors in the class listings for several players. Regardless, great group of talent.

Not that they weren't in attendance, but that vid clip showed no mention of 2017 PGs Alexis Morris or Kiana Williams; in fact, not many 2017 in that vid clip. Saw a blurb today where 2017 PG Dana Evans of Indiana trimmed her list of schools, and Baylor was no longer included.

Will be interesting to see if Baylor and Texas both focus their recruiting efforts on guards/wings for 2017, and then frontcourt players for 2018; that's how the in-state talent seems to be more heavily distributed. Granted, an out of state player can definitely help fill any void of in-state talent at certain positions.

Shae made a comment on this tweet by Brianna. Seems she was there, just not participating. I assume she is still rehabbing the torn ACL.
