Those of you who undersand Twiiter can tell us who said what about being undecided about going to Texas.

The Link

Photo of her standing behind a mannequin in a Longhorn hoops uniform with her #2; must have visited today or recently:

She is 6'4 Forward originally from Canada, and signed with North Carolina out of high school. JUCO 1st Team All-American last season as a freshman.

She is good friends with Krystle Henderson which can't hurt our chances. Spaces are filling up fast though!

She looks strong. Led the TVCC national championship team in rbs and FG%, 2nd in FT% and 3rd in scoring. Stats 13.5 pts, 9.5 rbs, 3.2 blks and 1st team AA as a freshman. Would love to see her as a Horn.

She is having a great sophomore campaign for #1 TVCC. Tourney starting soon.

As far as recruiting, she visited Michigan a few weeks ago, I think; I'm guessing it was on official visit (unless her own way up there).

Crossing my fingers that we are still after her, and her friendship with Krystle will be our ace in the hole!

Trinity Valley wins the JC championship, 65-46 over Hutchinson. Bulgak had a double double with 17 pts and 13 rebs. She was perfect shooting: 7-7 FGs, 1-1 3pters, and 2-2 from the FT line.

Really hope she has her academics in order, and wants to come play with Krystle. She will be an instant impact player wherever she signs.

Adut won National JUCO POY today in Nashville.

Read on her Twitter last week that she will be making some official visits; last one set for first weekend in May. Hasn't revealed schools. I think her visit to Michigan in January was an official visit, but just my assumption.

corrected link
This link should work, going to the jconline.com article about Bulgak.

She's willing to go anywhere, looks like. I'm not sure how Purdue fits her academically but Texas is also a running team and Krystle should be able to tell her about the academic support system if Texas offers the major she is interested in.

She's got seven schools on her list. She will have to cut a couple before taking her official visits.

Thanks for fixing the link.

Found her comments about North Carolina interesting; thought she had signed an LOI with them a couple of years ago, but didn't qualify academically; perhaps that wasn't the case.

And, if she's considering Berkeley, Michigan, Texas and Purdue, and has offers from those schools, then her academic standing is probably pretty good.

Her recent tweets talk about playing in the Final Four in Tampa next year, so she has high goals.

Really hope Krystle's presence at Texas will help us land her; of course, former TVCC teammate, Shannon Smith, is at Michigan.

I'm not going to discount Okie State and Florida State as they seem to do a good job signing JUCOs.

Glad that she visited us last summer, and in January for a game. Even if she doesn't take an official visit here, getting two unofficial visits from her in the last year (on her own dime) is significant, IMO.

Guess we'll know in around a month where she lands.

Read on her Twitter a few weeks ago that she plans to make her last official visit the first weekend in May; after that, she will make a decision.

She visited some school this past weekend as there was an "at the airport" tweet on Friday, I believe.

She visited Oklahoma State this past weekend.

Current TVCC teammate, 5'4 Roddrika Patton committed to OSU early last week, I believe.

per this story on April 16, she's down to five schools:
Purdue, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Cal and Texas.

BTW, congrats are in order for Adut, named the NJCAA Division One Player of the Year and her coach, Elena Lovato, named the NJCAA Division One Coach of the Year.

Adut has chosen Florida State.

Never could confirm if she visited us officially in the last few weeks. Had read the she visited Purdue and Oklahoma State officially; guess FSU also received an official.
