Adrian just continues to be Adrian!

This is probably the BIGGEST hole we didn't fill this year. AA's numbers were some of the best the 40 acres has ever seen in his three years here. Adrian keeps taking care of business for the Potomac Nationals in the Carolina League.

Check out the latest article on him and his stats...can you say EN FUEGO!!!

Keep up the hard work AA, you deserve everything that you have coming to you. Thanks for the great times at Texas, we will ALWAYS remember you!!

ahhh the no-hitter game against OU.

a game i missed to go to a sorority formal at UTSA with the most gorgeous woman ever.... and she didn't put out.

Ah man, too bad...did you catch the game the night before? Drew Stubbs hit the GW HR over the scoreboard...two of the best nights/days of baseball at the Disch I've ever seen...what a blast that was.

ACE ALANIZ: RHP Adrian Alaniz improved to 4-0 with an 8-2 victory at Kinston on May 11. Alaniz allowed a pair of singles in the first inning, then held the Indians hitless until he was removed after the sixth. The University of Texas product made adjustments against an aggressive K-Tribe offense and finished with six strikeouts and three walks. "You just kind of change your game plan from there on and start mixing a little bit more," Alaniz told the Kinston News Journal. "I was able to nibble the corners here or there for strike one and mix in off-speed pitches to get these guys off-balance."

Sweet. Having recently moved to the DC area, I'm really going to have to head outside the Beltway to Prince William County to catch Alaniz pitch sometime this season. And hopefully pretty soon I'll be able to watch him pitching at the new Nats ballpark.

For the second season in a row, AA is an All-Star!!!
