ACC goes 7 - 0 in the first round....

While first round wins do not mean a regional championship, 7 - 0 is pretty impressive - especially Virginia's win over the stud pitcher from San Diego State.

Sunbelt and Conference USA were both 2 -0.

SEC was 6 - 2 in first round games. Big XII was 5-3.

Big Ten was 0 - 3, qualifying them as the biggest loser of day one.

What the Cavs did? One good hit in the first inning with a man on? and K-ing an average of more than twice an inning?

The ACC will have their work cut out for them today:
BC @ Texas
UVA @ UC-Irvine
Miami @ Florida
FSU vs. UGA
Clemson vs. OKState
GT vs. SoMiss
UNC vs. Coastal Carolina

If there was an over/under on runs scored in that FSU/UGA game, I'd have to say it would be in the high-teens. The UNC/Coastal Carolina and Miami/UF games should also be pretty entertaining.

Virginia is an extremely solid team and no team in the field of 64 has less losses than them (12 - tied with AZState & G.Mason). They won the ACC tournament and 8 of their 11 regular season losses were by 1 run. They are certainly capable of winning that regional.
