As for tonight's games, I like Duke over Purdue. Purdue had a problem defending the drive against OU and, as much as it pains me, I think Duke will be able to drive at will. I haven't seen Ohio State yet this year, so I will be casually watching the 2nd game. Wake will beat a sluggish Indiana team and NC should beat Michigan State, but if TH doesn't play, that could get interesting.
OU and Texas should handle their PAC-10 counterparts.
Bucks looked bad in first half and were down by at least 12 several times, Miami had their top player ejected during the first half. 2nd half the Bucks looked much better and ended up winning 73-68. Good game for the young Bucks, first win on the road against a ranked opponent.
Miami's McClinton was ejected for a flagrant foul after he took a swipe at tOSU's Crater, scraping/brushing his face (not a punch is the point I'm trying to make).
The first several replays only showed McClinton slapping Crater. A later replay, from behind Crater, showed Crater reaching out with his left hand, it looked like he was going for the ball and that possibly McClinton thought Crater was going for his face so McClinton retaliated. An upper classman should have more composure than that.
They apparently didn't have a side camera to get a better angle on it. Regardless the refs conferred and ejected McClinton. The announcers said it will be for this game only.
We are much more athletic than last year and have a few kids making The Leap, including Jon Leuer who is playing like a young man possessed with greatness.
Because Bo is presently playing with a 10 man rotation and spreading the minutes out. You should see him tightening things up by the Texas game (maybe, that is......the deep rotation is working and this is the kind of rotation he had when he was winning Titles at the D3 level).
