I don't understand why their high profile support of Hillary sholudn't jeopardize their tax status. Does anybody know the law?

I would be in favor of revoking status for any church who gets too involved in politics, but I think its pretty clear that either the actual standard required to cause revocation is much higher than we would expect or that the government does not have the stomach to remove status on that basis.
