For the Rangers to make it to the series. Football is huge here, but baseball is as well. So many kids here grow up playing football here, but baseball also. So many MLB stars come out of the Texas High School systems and go on to be stars in NY or elsewhere. Its about time we have a great team like this here in Texas. Stros had a couple of good teams a few years back, but this team is LOADED, it about time - we deserve it as fans.

the yanks have 4 Texas kids on that team that i can think of right off the top....we always have prduced top talent, taking a back seat only to CA.

Heard Greenberg say on a pstgame show that "Cliff Lee is in the budget here". Not sure that was true, or for effect. If true, we'll be in this position more than once the next few yrs...What a great feeling that is.

Gotta get Cliff back. Its not just what he does on the mound, its how other teams change around their rotations against him in the playoffs, its how he scares the hell out of them, its the confidence he gives our whole team.
