Abel's closing?

Anyone heard about Abel's closing down at the end of this year? Heard a rumor that some developer bought up the parking lot behind it, the old Phi Delt house, and the houses next to Abel's to build yet another apartment complex.

I believe that the apt complex is going to be on 23rd behind University Towers.

That rumor's been going around for at least the last four years. If y'all are worried about Abel's closing, try going in there on another night besides Tuesday!! The last few times I've been there the crowd had been pretty small. If you don't support the business, maybe it will close down.
