Looks like Abby could easily take on Griner. Aside from the dunking, I am just not that freaked out by Griner. (not that I'd like to personally get on the court and have to face her!!!)

Griner dominated us...........I think she had 10 or 15 blocks.

Scary. I'm not sure why, but Sherri has never been able to recruit the athletic talent we need to win a national title.

Tenn. and UConn abuse us every time we play them. Maryland, Rutgers, etc.

Griner owns the paint against every team Baylor plays. Don't fool yourself by thinking that she is not a forced
to be reckoned with. I fear that our post players are not going to know how to play against her and will pick up a bunch of fouls just like OU did.

Well, Cokie played against her in high school and Ashley has shown herself to be much more under control when playing D, so I have hopes that we will be not be putting her on the foul line that much.

Your post players are much more athletic than ours. She is still a force, but I think your inside people will be able to deal with her much better than ours did.

Well, Tiger, I have to disagree that Sherri Coale has not been able to get the talent...they have had and do have buttloads of talent...
Paris twins, etc., and Danielle R is the best Point Guard in the country....

I don't want to sound like Bubba and say it's all on Coale, but they SHOULD have done better...

BTW, I like Coale's hair this year, much more refined...no more "Poodle Doo"
