AAS story on AT

nice read, thanks jusme! AT is awesome! a great find for Coach G...definitely worth the scholarship. i would say that Hand probably has Big 12 FOY locked up right now, but AT is tearing it up in conference play. all 3 of our freshman have been impressive this year.

I believe AT played for Coach Hansmeyer , a former guard (AJ Ogletree Hansmeyer) for UT . . . AJ was a fun player to watch. One of those never-give-up, never-give-in, play to the last tenth of a second types. So far she has two players in D-1 basketbal (Ashley Lindsey and AT)l, not bad for a young coach. She may have others, too -- not sure.
 
I really have loved watching this kid come into her own in the conference play. Quite a treat.
On another note, how great is it that the AAS has run two different stories on the women on this team this week? I'm thrilled that they are getting the recognition of the local paper.

yup, AT did play for Angie Jo! Angie Jo was my favorite player when i was growing up....i used to go to UT basketball camps as a kid, and she was my coach one year. i was in awe the whole time! she has done a great job at Connally HS.
