AAS: Outlook Promising for Gary Johnson’s Return

Man when he went down, the way it looked, I thought he was done for the year. Glad he is doing better and hopefully he will be 100% by Sunday at least.

The only time I'd want to see Lewis or Smith on the court is if it's an absolute blowout and it's garbage time. At this point in the season, resting Abrams and Augustin for a couple of minutes won't make a difference. They're not going to be any fresher for it. These next 6 games (let's hope) are what you play the entire season for. I think this should be at the bottom of Rick's priorities.

I was thinking the same thing, but I am pretty sure PC means only in a blowout. Hopefully, we will get one of those.

Get well soon Gary!!! Seriously I hope that we have Peay under enough control to let GJ sit this one out. Get better and be ready for the second round.

Just to let folks know, the original link is out of date. Gary doesn't look anywhere close to playing this weekend, and I have personal doubts as to whether he'll be ready to go next week. It depends on his recuperative powers.

No word on the injury.

I didn't mean for the Miami post to sound ominous, just truthful.

And Gary isn't wearing a boot. He's in uniform, participating in shootaround. It could be a whole hell of a lot worse.

The idea he's going to be ready to go either Friday or Sunday, though, doesn't seem realistic to me.
