I like having four of the top ten and 13 of the top 25. If Jeffcoat commits, that's five of the top ten and 14 of the top 25. Way to go, Mack and assistant coaches!
Only two of the top-8 .. Hope that improves. They are often the difference makers (well, they have a higher probability to be difference-maker, in the absence of any further info than the recuit lists!). One more from among Jeffcoat, Seastrunk and White would make it much better. Two more would make it terrific. Three more somehow, and I will open a champagne bottle, chug it down and fall sick for the rest of the day.
I would also like to get Jackson Jeffcoat, Lache Seastrunk and Darius White. Also DeAndrew White would be a good one. Of course from OOS Mr. Jordan HIcks would be a great addition. I wish we could also get a tight end even if a junior college transfer since we are very thin at that position.
Come on Men! Come to UT and Austin. You have a chance to go into legend in college football if you come here!
I agree with RayDog and it is only natural in a way because the interest in the players who have not committed is much higher than the verbals espeically the solid verbals.
The test isn't whether a recruiting service is always right in its assessments. If that was the case, they (along with all college coaches) would fail in predicting success.
The test is to what degree the list predicts success. In that regard, I would guess that the AAS Fab 55 is about average - worse than Mack Brown or Bob Stoops' lists, but better than AggieYell.com.
