The front door on my dad's house has some wood rot at the bottom. This is not unusual since the door was hand carved in 1927. I would like to get it repaired. I believe it is oak so I think a 3 or 4 inch oak piece at the bottom would fix it.
The door was hand carved by Peter Mansbendel who was a well known Austin wood carver at the time and the metal hinges and attachments were made by the Weigls.
Who in Austin might be able to repair it?
