In 2003 great running Adrain Peterson (AP) is a guest of UT at the Oklahoma game and supposedly has been a UT fan all his life. UT is whipped and his real loyalty is shown as he turns his back on UT and goes to Oklahoma to win NCs. We all know how that turned out as he never does and UT beats his teams two out of three years and wins the NC in 2005.
In 1985 Texas is upset in the playoffs in Women's Basketball and many had favored UT to win the NC. Coach Jody is so upset she says this is one NC that got away from us. San Antonio Recruit Clarrisa Davis (CD) watches our loss. She decides to come to UT because she felt bad for us and wanted to come help. And help she did as she has four great years for us and in her freshman year is our mvp and helps us win our first and only women's college basketball national championship.
