This is something I started to look at last year with NFL Guys. I did look at some college QBs too, mostly Big 12 QBs. I am curious as to whether y’all mostly follow my preliminary thoughts. The data was presented differently as the data came from different sources.

Afforded the time, I cannot imagine most proficient QBs not taking the time, if necessary, to seek out their 2nd or 3rd option.

This is anti-climactic after that loss to TCU.

Whether you humored me or acting give a damn, I would have answered.

But in actuality, QBs take less time to throw with a clean pocket. I checked our QBs in conference games, our opponents and some high profiles games. This seems counterintuitive, but I’d assume that if the first read is open, the QB is letting it rip. Then if you don’t like the first look, chances increase that pressure is on its way. In quite a few cases, the time to throw was more than 1 second more on average when pressured.

In any event, I thought that was interesting.

going for block punt was not a bad decision.

we needed a big play cause the offense was terrible.
plus, we didn't rough the punter. Terrible call.
Sark, once again, cost us another game by not pulling the awful QB..
