A nice competition every day smoker rig.

Unlike some of the really great looking rigs you see @ some of the smoking competitions, this one is not so large that you need to purchase acreage just to store it. I imagine it would fit in a standard garage bay, but didn't really measure.

These pics are from the Dripping Springs Founder's Day; the team is WetSu. They won some hardware (see the trophies on the shelf in one of the pics; I think they got 1st place ribs & 2nd brisket or something like that... either way, they did well) & said that last year, they went to the Kansas City Royale & took 12th place in Brisket out of over 500 teams... not too bad, IMO.

Please ignore the chaos that is evident around this rig; these guys really know how to run a smoker.

thanks for the pic, that a great looking rig. would you say the pipe is 36in about 6 ft long? looks big but hard to tell in the pics. Also how tall do you think the stacks are? all the pics they extend outside the frame?

Well, let me rephrase that to a rig that's more for "large family or tailgate gatherings". I like that it's a self contained unit that has just about everything you would want; coolers & plastic storage up the center along with maybe a generator.

As for the flues, those appear to be 4" to me & the first photo is just about where the top finishes off.

Did you also notice that it holds the oversized umbrella off the middle?

Oh, & here's there site for the Q team: The Link
