A&M suspends two players

Courtney Williams and Shlonte Allen suspended indefinitely before their game today.
Williams had started 25 of 27 games and was a big part of their offense.
 
Still suspended. Florida State up 14 in 2ndQ

I'm a little surprised the suspensions go past first round action. Got to be rough

And their leading scorer this season, Thomas, only has two points at the break. I think FSU may have one of the best starting lineups in the country, and when they're on, they can beat anyone. But they have trouble closing the deal against other top teams; their losses have come to UCONN, ND, Louisville, ASU, Florida, Syracuse and Miami. But they're definitely a team that has the potential to upset a top team along the way, and make a deep run. Let's see how they do second half vs. the ags.

Yeah I had picked them as my surprise FF team last year, and they almost made it. They definitely have the talent, and even more experience this year, and the matchup with the Bears in the Sweet 16 should be a good one. If FSU comes to play, and puts up the same type of performance they did vs. the ags, they can beat BU. Let's see what happens, but I pick the winner of that contest to take out OSU (assuming the Beavers get past DePaul) in the Elite 8.
 
Not sure, Stat, but some speculated in was an academic issue since interim reports had just come out before the suspensions. And there could have been flexibility with other issues, but if they were academically ineligible, no way to correct that before the two tourney games the ags just played. But again, it's a privacy issue, so everything is just speculation.
 
Grades or drugs most likely with privacy laws and all. Anything else would be leaked by now. Being in the middle of Spring semester, grades don't sound right. Don't they have drug testing around play-off time ? But as others say its a privacy law issue so all one can do is guess and speculate......But you would think if it were just some old team rules, some bleacher or suicide runs would fit rather than killing your chances of a final four run.

They drove to Austin to fight some girls. Got caught bragging. As per another player.
