Unless you had a reliable place to land it nearby that wouldn't attract any attention, as well as a place to put it away/out of sight immediately, that would be a horrible getaway car. Squad cars could probably stay in sight of you until the police helicopter showed up, and I'm guessing a helicopter would be able to keep up with it.

Also, if you can afford a flying car, why are you robbing the bank?

More related to the OP, is this car street legal? I didn't see anything that said so one way or the other in the article. I'd assume so if they're trying to market it as a consumer product.
