A Charge and a Block at the Same Time?

Anyone watching the Spurs? Would someone explain the play where one ref called a block and the other ref called a charge. After huddling, they called it a double personal with a jump ball.

Didn't see it, but could it be a situation where the block was clearly committed but the offensive player did something like lead with an elbow?

Did you see the double personal with Matt Hill this week against Tech? Hill ran into the guy, then that sorry player for Tech did his normal tackling routine.

A block and a charge may be called simultaneously. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen.

i saw the game/call. neither guy would give in, thus they gave 'em each a foul. Pop and Karl laughed, that's how ******* bad it was. both guys thought they had the right call and blew the whistle at the same time. NBA officials' egos are the best
