A beautiful statistic

i agree! it has been insane to get this many sacks......i hardly remember 2 games where we got this many sacks.

Colt McCoy #2 rated passer is pretty f'ing sick as well. The kid is playing way better than I thought he could.

This team may actually be better than I give it credit for. We'll find out in October.

This I think will be the key when we play OU, more than our secondary stepping up. There were a few drives yesterday where OU just couldn't do anything and the key was TCU getting pressure on Bradford. If it comes down to a battle in the trenches, I would like Texas because of Colt's running ability vs. Bradford's.

Still, it would be great if our secondary would improve... you know, just in case.

TCU and OU were right there with us. Watcing yesterday's game between them makes me think Colt is going to have to have a Heisman worthy performance in the RRS. TCU couldn't get their offense started because of the pressure on the QB and met RBs at the line of scrimmage. Colt needs to quickly hit receivers to avoid improving OU's numbers in that chart, b/c I don't know if our RBs have the legs to take the pressure off.

The key has been the front four pressure in the last couple of weeks - I posted before the season that I would be disappointed if this isn't our most effective passrushing defensive line since the Hampton/Rogers group. So far, that looks pretty accurate, but we'll see against stronger offensive lines.
