We did 106.1 here in Shreveport (heat index hit 117 to 118), you know its hot when its 82 degrees (88 heat index) at 4:30 AM, hells bells you got heat index before the damn sun comes up! Amen Worster Man bring on the fall and football.

BTW Worster, your man Steve was one of my Longhorns heroes, I can still hear the crowd on TV going Woooooooooooooooo every time he carried the mail.

It was 107 in the greater northeast Texas area on Sunday, so we went fishing, it's what we do.

Actually, you get up in the wooded areas and fish the shade on the brush piles for crappie, caught some nice ones and a couple of big catfish that did a real number on my light crappie rig. The five pound catfish put my crappie rod end into the water and almost broke my little crappie hook. It made a C hook out of it.

I got him in though and another two pound catfish, helped round out my crappie haul, had some nice slabs, one was about two pounds.

Trust me I can feel a distinct difference for us poor suffering fools in DFW tonight. A slight breeze and way under 100 degrees this evening is a big difference from the last few days. I hope you get some of that in Austin tonight or Thurs.
