Great outing tonight to win the series. Rangers need to make most of Holland, Harrison and Darvish's starts. 92 wins probably still wins west and Rangers are 34 wins away with 65 games left.
 
^Rangers have ten games left with the Angels and six with Oakland. The Angels have to face Oakland ten more times. With the A's suddenly hot (and percentage points ahead of the Angels), those two may end up splitting, which would benefit the Rangers (as long as the Rangers can keep finding ways to win with a patchwork rotation).

It's certainly nice to get a series win over the BoSox. It would also be nice to get a sweep of the ChiSox before the Angels come in for a 4-game series (which looks to include Weaver and Wilson starts), but I'd be happy if they take 2 of 3 from Chicago.
 
We sucked against Chicago earlier. We need a real 180 -- and for the offense to get its *** in gear.
 
I'd like to see two of three from the White Sox and three of four from the Angels - but I'd take a split with the Angels and be reasonably pleased.

Yes, it was very Fergie-like. I knew him when he was a Ranger. I really liked him.

Holland must continue to stay strong.
