France coming to Dublin is a huge match for day 1 of the competition. The loser isn't eliminated, but they'll be on the outside hoping for other results to go their way.

I don't follow rugby any other time of the year, but the 6 nations is a great tournament and it keeps me going when there is precious little other interesting sport going on.

I think your bottom 3 are in the right order, though Italy generally give a scare to one of the big boys every year. Any of those top 3 could win it, but Ireland have been the nearly men for so long, maybe this is their year...

Ireland looked great in the win over France. It was a great match to watch.

And I'll have to readjust the bottom 2. Unless Italy gets a new scrumhalf and stop using a converted back they will not win a game. Scotland looked better than I imagined they would be in their loss to Wales.

Italy have called up a new scrum half, after the failure of the Bergamasco experiment, but even so I can't see them challenging Ireland next week.
Wales v England should be a good one.
