Publicly, the government said there were 4.7 million unique visits in the first 24 hours, but at a meeting Wednesday morning, the war room notes say 6 enrollments have occurred so far. They were with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, CareSource, and Health Care Service Corporation. By Wednesday afternoon, enrollments were up to approximately 100. By the end of Wednesday, the notes reflect 248 enrollments nationwide.

And most of the ones who signed up will be on Medicaid - free health care, which is what millions of idiots thought they were voting for.

When will they learn that nothing is free? Never.

Obama Officials In 2010: 93 Million Americans Will Be Unable To Keep Their Health Plans Under Obamacare.

93,000,000. Let that sink in. He is a leader - a misleader.

The only good news in all this is that MAYBE some people who voted democrat in '12 will pull their heads out and vote for conservatives who say they will repeal this nightmare.

This can't be accurate as they stated they would not have the numbers until mid November. They built a time lock on the website to collect all the data but not reveal it until that time.

The health care system, pre-Obamacare, was siphoning off an enormous percentage of the nation's wealth, damaging private (non-health) business and government even more. Are the Pubs going to do anything besides cheer on a public private partnership in which the public's job is to get screwed over wiith a system that charges likes it's serviing Tiffany's customers with next to zero price transparency?

No question Obamacare is bad. If any market research went into the decision to require people to completely identify themselves before shopping for insurance instead of shopping and identifying themselves when they are ready to buiy -- then that market researcher is guilty of criminal malpractice. My guess is some arrogant politicians made that decision, maybe some folks so powerful and insulated that he/she had never bought anything online.

The car industry, the entertainment industry and the fast food industry siphon off more wealth with less benefit. I know it is popular to see certain industries as " Big so and so", but people who have their lives saved through our incredible healthcare system typically have a different view. Without the chance for better than average profits, no new drug or medical device would ever be invented.

Who cares about the computer glitch? Even if it was perfect, you'd still be signing up for a piece of crap product. I hope people don't take their eye off the ball. This obozocare has got to be dumped.

No question the healthcare industry makes our lives longer and happier. It deserves an enormous share of this country's income for the services it provides. However, there has to be a balance between costs and value delivered and tiers of service that mean that people who work with their hands can get safe decent health care without stiffing creditors or spending their entire income on it. I don't shop at Tiffany's and Nordstroms, but I still have clothes and what little jewelry I need.

Another fallacy is that people who work with their hands cannot afford health insurance. If people prioritize their money, most can afford insurance. However, it requires not borrowing money for new pickups, boats and 4-wheelers.

I grew up in a very low income, blue collar family. We lived within our means and my parents paid for health insurance for all of their kids or found at least one job that covered the family. Life is about choices.

However, we do not need a lying President making those choices for us.

So Rick Perry was right when he said the enormous percentage of Texans going without insurance are "merely exercising their freedom not to have insurance."

I am not Rick Perry nor do I support him. I believe there is a larger percentage of uninsured who choose not to have health insurance than those who cannot afford it. That choice includes those who make life decisions that place them in lower income situations.

Yes. Bingo! You see the light. Now stick with me, it is not anyone's responsibility but their own to pay the bill. taxing everyone else to pay for their medical insurance is not the answer. Stop giving them free stuff and make them work for it.

No. They get cared for, but have to pay the bill. Personal accountability. I know liberals hate it, but that is the core for even Obamacare to have a chance of working.

If someone truly is not capable of caring for their own well being, I believe there should be a safety net. However, today's entitlement society has produced a large group of people who refuse this accountability.
