I understand not trusting the source (I play that card frequently myself), but what is your counter to what is posed about the waivers going to friendly interests on the Administration?

I see the article quoted by MichTex as somewhat indites the whole process anyway. Whether Pelosi had absolute knowledge of the process or not, it appears as if one socialist project (ObamaCare) ran into another socialist project (San Francisco's local health care law) and had to be addressed by waivers. This is a much bigger story - at least in terms of how it my affect me personally - than the idea of Pelosi gaining votes. She'll always be elected in her district.

All the billions the unions stole from their members was worth it.
