500 Days of Summer

Go see it. It's depressing and uplifting if you've recently gone through a break up.

And Zooey Deschanel is damn cute.

I left Austin on Sunday and headed 1100 miles north to Chicago. One one hand, its been over 100 for 30 of the past 35 days. On the other, it hasn't broken 90 YET this summer. WTF!

Yeah, well, I live in a house with no air conditioning, and I still plan on seeing the movie.

I loves me some Joey Gordon-Levitt.

I grew up in a house without air conditioning, but that was a long time ago. I would be hard pressed to recall such a miserable summer as this weather wise.

We've had worse. Sure, it's uncomfortable, but we live.

The main thing is that JGL has a new movie, and it appears he will continue to make the difficult transition from child actor to adult actor without having to go the porn route.

Texanne Girl someone needs to give you a sweet hook up on a window unit or something. Damn, it gets hot in Belton, right? I couldn't sleep at night!

I just read the review and it is eerily familiar to my situation. Since I just lived it (breakup was a month ago) I'm thinking I'd rather not watch it all play out again. But since the "life must go on" mentality is finally starting to sink in for me I suppose it couldn't hurt...

Hey, White Castle, if you're not ready for it, don't go. I wish I'd not seen Tears of Endearment so soon after my parents died -- it reopened wounds that were just too fresh.

Plus that movie sucked.

Thanks for the tip, I'm not sure when I'd have time to go see it anyway. If I do make it to the theater, Hangover is at the top of the queue anyway....

I can't wait for it to come to Temple. I don't have time to go to Austin to see it, and it hasn't come to Killeen either.
