50 UT NCAA games in a row

The Texas-Arizona game today was the 50th consecutive UT Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament game I have attended, dating back to the lone NCAA game during Abe Lemons' tenure in 1979. What a way to reach a milestone, with an absolute heartbreaker. Really have to feel for the guys, playing with such heart in that second half comeback. March 2012 seems a long way off, but wherever we go I'll be there.

Thanks. I guess it was fitting that after the game I met Ryan Clark, the Longhorn Road Trip guy who has been to every UT basketball game over the past 5 seasons (2010-11 included) - something like 186 consecutive games. Good to meet someone with similar passion for Horn Hoops.
