When Hawaii scored in the second half last night it meant every FBS football team scored yesterday but one.

With the innovation of the forward pass and the evolution of offenses over the past 20-30 years it's hard not to score even if just by accident. Yesterday was a major accomplishment even if OU is in a "down" year.
I have stated many times that besides mitigating injury risk to starters, the backups running handoffs in the 4th quarter was a waste of time in terms of experience gained to take over if needed.Gotta be honest. I'm sad Auburn missed his FG or the team didn't score a TD in last 80% of the 4th quarter. OU's biggest margin of victory is 52 points set in 2003.
Seriously can you even imagine losing to KU at home?Lose to KU at home?
The damage that 49-0 did to the sooner psyche is clearly visible on a couple of their forum sites.
I do agree, but-I have stated many times that besides mitigating injury risk to starters, the backups running handoffs in the 4th quarter was a waste of time in terms of experience gained to take over if needed.
I just think meaningful snaps would be better. Those backups could need to come in when the game is not out of hand.I do agree, but-
Mack used to play as many backups and walk ons as possible once the game was in hand as it is a big morale booster for the entire team.
I know this because I was at a luncheon and he said that, so this isn’t typical HF conjecture.
Yessir. I agree again with that.I just think meaningful snaps would be better. Those backups could need to come in when the game is not out of hand.
Are you being facetious? Mack went into the National Championship game against Bama without a backup to Colt who had game experience. If I remember correctly (and I do), he put in a freshman with very little game experience and lost. I don't think his other quarterback got any significant playing time during the year either because Mack would keep Colt in until the very end of the game. The outcome might have been different with a seasoned quarterback on the bench.I do agree, but-

Having mop up time would likely have helped Gilbert but not nearly as much as WRs that could make the reads and run the correct routes for timing throws. You can look that up under the definition of "pick six"
I saw a video clip today and it almost seemed like our D-back jumped in tandem with the QB. Choreography majors must actually be happy now...they can claim to have served a useful purpose in fall ball...I just hope they keep that RB jump pass in the playbook for next season. I think it works great!!
Did Harris see the field during the season? I thought he had a lot of potential.Stat,

I cannot comment on Colt or the specific QB position, but I clearly recall Texas in blowouts having players in the game that Craig Way at was unable to identify without doing some searching. Are you being facetious? He also waited too long in the Big XII championship against Colorado to put a "seasoned" quarterback in when things were going south in a hurry. Mack was a good man and a good coach, but I have said it many times and will always believe that his ability to manage the quarterback position was his weakness.
