32' LCD Recommendations?

I'm looking into getting a 37" LCD for the bedroom, not any bigger and could possibly go with a 32". Won't be watching a ton of TV on it, but want something in the $600 price range. Doesn't have to be great, but I obviously don't want something with problems.

Thanks in advance for your expertise!

I am sure hlaustin will chime in soon.

The 37" is the worst size to buy because they cost so much. I dont know why either. I did a **** ton of research 4 months ago because the 37" was the biggest size that would fit in my armoire.

You can get one around $599 to $699 (name brand) if you are lucky. I had decided on the Panasonic for a variety of reasons, one of which was it had an sd slot on the side.

If it is for your bedroom, see how far you are from it and maybe the 32 will work. You can get a nice one for under $500.

If not, and you want at least a 37" dont discount a 40" if it would fit.

hlaustin what sayeth you......

yeah 37" is a bad size since they have a lot of access that gets thrown away when they cut that panel. We are running a Toshiba 37 for 577 and have a close out sharp that we are going to be running at 500.00. Tough set to come by though.

OK, after measuring and comparing a couple of neighbors' 32" LCD's we are probably going with that.

Advice on that?

No advice, but please post back once you decide, I've got an armoire in the bedroom that can't hold anything bigger than a 32" and am looking myself...

Bought a nice 32" Sony from hlaustin to gift to one of my sons for Christmas. He really likes that set (his previous was a 27" CRT).

i have an awesome samsung 32 " LCD. It is intended for the bedroom when my boyfriend and his hugeass tv move in, but for now it is my main tv. it's fantastic. i can look up the model number, not sure of it right now. but, i ordered it on amazon and got a great deal - I think i paid $648 total.

I bought the same set as Tenacious from Amazon for about the same price last fall and am very pleased with it. Hooked up in a bedroom. It will fit in an armoire we have but we decided not to go that way.
