1. mason actually has a decent shot. clutch from 3 today.

2. our zone worked well against ou.

3. gary johnson is starting to do the little things and that could be very important come march (ie. playing decent D against a tough blake griffin)

great game for mason...this is the confidence boost he was desperately looking for

Stastistically one of the best games in a long time although the fg% could be better (James and Johnson the culprits).
100% from the line 11 for 11 - what a pleasant shock.
Great assist to TO ratio - 11:5
Held OU to 10 offensive rebounds and forced 9 turnovers.
James couldn't hit his ***, but led the team wtih 8 boards.
Overall a balanced and solid effort on the road.

Hate to complain about officiating in a win, but it seemed to me like all you had to do was breath on blake griffin to get a foul called on you. The kid is good and all but it isn't like he's mike jordan out there, deserving of star treatment. I didn't even see much of a foul when he went up for the alley oop and went to the floor and rolled around for a couple of minutes. It looked to me like he and Atchely were just going for the ball at the same time, neither with good position.

Man, I have been rooting for Mason with all I've got on every shot and I am glad he nailed those 3 threes...Johnson played some nice D at times tonight...very good road win to start off this tough stretch....It is nice to see the team dig themselves out of an early hole this time but I sure do wish they will start off with more of a bang in the next few games....Also on an semi-unrelated note, nice conference home game attendance this year...

Gary changes us defensively......i don't want to jinx us or anything, but since he has figured things out, we haven't had much trouble rebounding like we did.
