I guess they went to bed? I stopped watching for a while and when I came back the camera was still running and the "caution stick" was waving, but the dudes were nowhere to be seen...

What time is the storm supposed to make land tomorrow?

According to TWC it could hit about 8 or 9. The winds are really kicking up there, tornado watches galore and rain at a nice angle. Oiter bands have arrived. If it is going to hit Nawlins area I hope the storm does not slow down as some predict it may or should. I like it churning quickly and moving out faster as well.

I guess it could intensify a bit and obviously hammer them much longer if is slows.

He's gotta be feeling low now. He already wishes he would have reconsidered AND his only lifeline left to the world, his cell is in and out. I hope he has some batteries and one of those battery operated chargers. It would be horrible to see your bars of battery life dwindling, no power to recharge and the electric lines down. Roofs nearby being ripped off, wall on your bldg. collapsed, etc...

Been just over an hour since an update. Must be a big band coming through and cell service is down. Hope that is all it is. But his updates were more frequent. Maybe conserving power?
