3 Big Monday Games and Riggs

In the AAS online brief I just received via e-mail, there is an article by Riggs stating that Texas will play 3 Big 12 conference games on Big Monday on ESPN, all good by me. But what I found sort of interesting is Riggs mentions that Texas is comining off a 28-8 record that ended with a loss to Arizona in the THIRD round of the NCAA tournament. Since we avoided the play-in games, we get credited for an extra round? Sort of duplicitous in my view, but I understand that Riggs needs to have access to the program and likely wants to grease the wheels with Barnes. Just sort of a bogus take in my view. We were home before the end of the first weekend..........

I *think* he is just using the official NCAA labels. This year the play-in games were called round 1.

I could be wrong about that though.

Yes, Indy, it was the third round. Last year it was the second round.

Rick Barnes should be fired every year that he fails to make it to the third round!
