The twitter world is blowing up and reports of commit # 24 are in and it's Adrian Colbert! I'll find the 'tweets' and post them here... but he has yet been quoted by Hookem.com, the AAS, IT or OB and until he's comes out & says it publicly, it is what it is!

There has to be a lot of validity to it especially when one of the players tweets his (Colbert's) commitment as well as most of the pay sites, Scout & IT included... but I'll believe it when I hear it coming from Colbert's lips... but I like what I'm hearing, it'll be only time!

I know what you mean H-D. I am sure it is true but I like it to be official. Even then I don't relax completely till we all all the signed signatures on National Signing Day in February even though we usually keep nearly all of our recruits.

Agree. The video shows an extremely talented player. From his safety position he makes tackles at the line of scrimage. If runners break free he stops them. Incrediblel closing speed to knock down passes.
On offense he only was tackled twice in the video. Seems to have incredible strength breaking tackles. Great hands as a receiver. Can return punts and kickoffs also.
Incdredible talent for a three star. Rivals must have run out of stars.

A Vaccaro + Colbert = VacColbert safety duo in the Texas secondary next year would be sick.

A healthy trio of Brown + Bergeron + Gray in the Texas backfield would also be sick.

And once the Longhorns get a high performing and ball-protecting QB under center, I'll stop being sick. The fact Mack and his staff are discussing the possibility of a JUCO/senior-colllege QB transfer shows they are serious.

Things are definitely looking up.

What do you suggest if not a JUCO QB transfer? Ash? McCoy? Brewer?

You're questioning if a JUCO QB can do it or not because you feel K-State hasn't done well enough with one. I wonder how well K-state would do if they have Case or Ash as their QB instead of a JUCO QB? 2 JUCO QB's have won a national championship in the last 11 years and I think that's not bad. Actually even one winning a National Championship tells me all I need to know considering our options at this point.
