I think Kim will probably save her dad's life, though - how else could there be another season??

Well, I don't think there is any way that he is all bad. But, I know there is no way that he is all good. For Tony to be good, that means Larry Moss would have to be bad, and the guy who was working at Starkwood that killed the two FBI agents would have to be good as well.

I just don't see that being the case. Ultimately, I see Tony as a misguided good guy, who makes some bad decisions. I don't see why he would do some of the things he has done if he was the ultimate mastermind.

Well, if Jack has a granddaughter then it could mean his daughter dies during the "procedure". Now Jack would have a grandkid to deal with.

I'd buy into that except for the fact that every season 8 spoiler written has indicated it'll put a heavy emphasis (when I say heavy, I mean season 4 levels) on Jack's love relationship with Renee. To pile on a grandchild on that would be to minimize the national security stuff, and that's just not what the show is (try as they might).

I hope the plot at least makes some sense in the end--sometimes they don't. Last night, Tony was the one who took the initiative to blow up the rockets and the biological weapons and then he saves a cohort who has escaped with a container of the same biological agent. Like all of you, I'm waiting for the writers to show us how those two actions are consistent.

it doesn't make any sense. why would tony go through all of the trouble to blow up the rockets if he actually just wanted to steal a tiny canister. he gave himself up to the feds. he was handcuffed and going into custody! that was part of the plan??

It may have been part of his contingency plan that he had to go by starting with when he got arrested by Jack earlier in the season and further when Debaku and Juma got killed. It's very hard to tell at this point.
