21 - The Movie

Did anyone catch this? I read the book couple of years ago and was really excited to see the movie being made but it's been getting bad reviews and a lot say it really goes away from the book.

If that's the case I probably wont check it out. I hate when movies destroy books I like

The book wasn't exactly a literary masterpiece, but it was fun and entertaining (especially for a blackjack junkie like me). I've heard the movie is terrible, but I'll probably still netflix it when it comes out on DVD.

Stay away! It's cheesy, predictable, and none of the characters are likable. If you've read the book don't touch the movie.

There was a time not long ago that I looked forward to a movie with Kevin Spacey in it.

Saw it today...not very good. .. well maybe if you suspend reality. And the Vegas stuff was off. They were staying at the Hard Rock but looking out over the fountains at Bellagio. The idea of two of the newer casinos on the strip not having the newest surveillance technology didn't seem realistic to me.
Kate Bosworth is hot...if you are into that.

the movie is ok if you just forget it has anything to do with the book. MIT was about the only thing that stayed true to the book
