i might go there when i head to nyc in two weeks. is it all show or is the food actually decent?

Go there for a the vibe, not the food. It has the old school boys club feel. Good place to hang with your buddies, not so much with a gal. Oh yeah, bring your platinum card, it'll cost you.

they have a 3 course meal deal for $40. and i think if you reserve online you get a free drink

I think the food is very good, and a great scene. The last time I was there they required both a coat and tie. Enjoy.
